About Us

Growing up in a small town just outside of Fargo, my experience with “seafood” was like that of many Midwesterners. It was mainly Tuna Hotdish, Fish Sticks and the occasional Walleye or Northern Pike that graced our dinner table. In 1999 I studied in the UK where I met my beautiful wife whose seafood experience was much more varied than my own. She introduced me to the flavors of fresh grilled Sardines, Mackerel, Snapper and Herrings. Promising her riches, prosperity, and a life of ease I convinced her to marry me. After her arrival in the US in 2004, and before she could discover my deception, I did away with her passport thereby securing our future together. We have made Fargo our home since then.

Our family of two grew to three in 2011 with the addition of our little princess Tabitha. At the time Bee was working as a Business Analyst in a local business benefits company. Rock Star though she was, she knew she wanted more than a 9 to 5. Throwing caution to the wind, she parted ways with a guaranteed paycheck to become the brains (and beauty) behind our business.

Our family set out on this exciting voyage in the spring of 2013 with the start of Off The Hook Seafood, a mobile seafood market. We began by bringing top quality seafood to hungry folks working in the oil fields in the western part of ND, growing our reputation one door at a time. We spent countless hours establishing relationships with sources on the East, West, and Gulf coasts to supply the high quality and sometimes hard to find items our customers expect.

From the start, we have prided ourselves on sourcing the highest quality fresh and frozen seafood products possible and making them easily available to our ever-growing fan base. As our reputation grew, we added stops throughout the state generating a strong following in Bismarck, Minot, Dickinson and Grand Forks just to name a few. Our routes are structured to provide regular, dependable service that our customers can count on. We have a consistent schedule for the various communities on our route with our mobile seafood market stops occurring weekly, every two weeks or every four weeks depending on the location. We now serve over 35 communities throughout North Dakota, and we are just getting started!
